Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Manufacturing Engineers to prepare and maintain manufacturing bills of materials for all products i.e. parent component relationship part numbers and quantity per at 98% accuracy level. Track and co-ordinate with Scheduling Tooling and QC the proper timing of ECNs to ensure proper timing and production at required engineering level. Prepare and maintain part-numbering system and assign part numbers to raw materials components subassemblies and assemblies as required following the form-fit-function rules. Assist Manufacturing Engineers to develop and maintain; plant and equipment layouts manufacturing flow charts process plans production standards engineering reports Maintenance of all current pending and obsolete Engineering files (systems documents drawings and specifications vendor files and database). Will work in compliance with TS16949 Standards. Using word processing and Spreadsheet skills format compile and generate reports graphs correspondence and computer files as assigned. Copy and distribution of reports or forms Provide Manufacturing Engineering staff with performance indicators to assist in monitoring effectiveness of efforts to continually improve manufacturing processes and cost saving goals. Take photo with digital camera and snap into company network as request. Develop and maintain all operator instructions; present drafts to Manufacturing Engineers and the AQP Team for review / -ordinate the exchange of operator instructions for engineering changes Provide information and reports and other required services to assist management and supervisors in the efficient operation and decision making process in their departments. Advise Management of any potential problems and opportunities for improvement. Will maintain due diligence in regard to environmental matters minimize any potentially harmful accidents and work in compliance with ISO 14001. Will follow the environmental guidelines for aspects as outlined in job training requirements.
Will work in compliance with all legislative requirements of the OHSA and will be accountable for specific Health & Safety responsibilities as outlined under Safety & Environmental Responsibilities Office & Production Employees.

Basic Requirements:
College or university enrolment in mechanical engineering Supervisory and management skills:
-Interaction and communications.
-Company policies.
-Health and safety.
Ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization. Knowledge of assembly tool-room and press shop equipment. Computer skills in the areas of databases spreadsheets and word processing. Drafting and drawing skills. (CadKey AutoCad & other presentation software) Be able to communicate technical information (in English) well both written and spoken.
