Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical support to the Operations Team in the areas of efficiency production line layout/flow continuous improvement projects and support of day to day manufacturing operations.
- Refine and update existing documentation.
- Assist with training and technical support of Operations personnel
- Assist with CAPA investigations and Corrective Actions
- Support Lean initiatives such as 6S Daily Accountability process
- Support/lead continuous improvement projects
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
- Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field
Minimum 3 years experience required
Experience and understanding of manufacturing processes
Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
Intermediate MS Office skills - Excel Word PP and Visio
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Work is performed in a normal office environment with periodic work performed in a controlled manufacturing area requiring protective clothing and safety glasses.
