Description
The Manufacturing Coordinator serves as a key link between production operations and factory performance visibility. This role is responsible for monitoring manufacturing capacity tracking priority unit flow identifying bottlenecks and providing actionable reporting that enables leadership to make informed decisions. The Manufacturing Coordinator works closely with supervisors operators and cross-functional teams to ensure products move efficiently through the manufacturing process and production goals are achieved.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on production capacity across all manufacturing areas on a daily basis.
- Track priority units throughout the manufacturing process and coordinate resolution of issues impacting production flow.
- Partner with floor supervisors operators and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production constraints in real time.
- Develop maintain and distribute dashboards and reports that provide visibility into capacity throughput and operational risk.
- Identify bottlenecks and work with the appropriate teams to implement corrective actions and improve efficiency.
- Document workflows and support the standardization of processes to reduce variation and improve consistency.
- Communicate production status priorities and risks clearly across departments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process evaluation.
Education & Experience:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Manufacturing Supply Chain or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing production operations or business support role is preferred.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required; Power BI or similar reporting tools are a plus.
- Ability to analyze production data and identify trends risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience documenting processes and developing standard operating procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable working both on the manufacturing floor and in an office environment.
