Job Summary:
Operates and optimizes moderately complex specialized manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products that meet defined specifications and production targets. Applies technical expertise to monitor adjust and maintain machinery ensuring consistent output and adherence to safety and quality standards. Supports production efficiency by identifying equipment performance trends and implementing minor corrective actions within established guidelines. Maintains operational reliability by proactively addressing equipment issues and escalating non-routine problems to senior technical team members. Enhances manufacturing outcomes by contributing practical insights that improve process stability and product consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operates and maintains standard and non-standard manufacturing equipment in accordance with established safety and quality protocols.
Performs routine and non-routine inspections and troubleshooting on machinery escalating basic to moderately complex issues to senior technicians or supervisors.
Documents production data and equipment performance ensuring records are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Adheres to standard operating procedures and participates in periodic audits to maintain compliance with industry and organizations standards.
Identifies and implements standard and non-standard process improvements to enhance efficiency product quality or workplace safety.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and resolve workflow bottlenecks.
Follows safety quality and regulatory guidelines reporting any incidents or hazards promptly to leadership.
Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
Vocational/Technical Diploma in manufacturing industrial technology a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
Work Experience:
2 - 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment or machinery or a related field required.
Certifications and Licenses:
None required.
