Manufacturing Associate Finishing/Bindery (Well Train You!)

What Youll Do:
- Feed books/signatures into machine.
- Pack books into cartons.
- Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
- Perform hand operations as required.
- Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean organized workspace.
What Were Looking For:
No bindery experience No problemwell train you.
Were looking for people who:
- Have experience operating machineryin any industry(manufacturing warehouse trades etc.)
- High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders workplace and safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Basic math skills add subtract and ability to use a measuring device.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements.
- Take pride in doing quality work.
- Show up reliably and work well with a team.
Its a plus if you have:
- Print bindery or finishing experience.
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment.
Physical & Work Environment:
- On your feet for most of the shift.
- Fast-paced team-oriented production floor.
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
