Job Summary
Overview
Client is seeking a Manual QA Tester with experience validating both web applications and physical or connected devices. This role focuses on comprehensive software and device testing test documentation defect tracking and quality assurance activities within a collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple testing methodologies strong analytical and documentation skills and the ability to work independently while partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.
Core Responsibilities
Execute manual testing activities for web applications and physical or connected devices.
Create and maintain detailed test plans test scenarios test cases test data and traceability matrices.
Perform functional integration system regression exploratory usability compatibility and end-to-end testing.
Review application and device logs to identify issues and support defect analysis.
Utilize browser developer tools and diagnostic utilities to investigate and troubleshoot application behavior.
Track document and manage defects using Azure DevOps or equivalent test management and defect-tracking tools.
Support requirements traceability risk-based testing and defect-management processes throughout the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and testing objectives are achieved.
Essential Qualifications Skills and Technologies
5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing or quality assurance.
Experience testing both web applications and physical or connected devices.
Strong experience creating test plans test scenarios test cases test data and traceability matrices.
Hands-on knowledge of functional integration system regression exploratory usability compatibility and end-to-end testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC STLC requirements traceability risk-based testing and defect-management processes.
Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent test management and defect-tracking tools.
Knowledge of browser compatibility client-server architecture networking fundamentals and device connectivity.
Ability to analyze application and device logs using browser developer tools and diagnostic utilities.
Strong analytical problem-solving communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills or Experience
Experience in the medical device healthcare life sciences or another regulated industry.
Familiarity with medical device verification and validation processes.
Knowledge of ISO 13485 ISO 14971 IEC 62304 IEC 62366-1 and applicable FDA regulations.
Experience producing regulated test documentation and objective test evidence.
Experience testing Virtual Reality applications headsets controllers sensors or related devices.

On-site role requiring attendance in the Dublin office five days per week.
