Manual Machinist 2nd and 3rd Shift

The shifts are:

• 2nd shift- 3:30PM 11PM
• 3rd shift- 10:30PM 7AM

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate degree in a mechanical/electrical field preferred
• 3 years of related machining or mechanical experience or equivalent combination of education and training
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in basic math skills including fractions decimals tolerances and measurements
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in non-standard situations
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Effective verbal written and interpersonal communication skills with a strong sense of urgency.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of machining equipment including manual lathes mills grinders drill presses welders and balancing equipment
• Perform machining tasks such as turning milling threading boring drilling grinding and dynamic balancing
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machining and assembly of components
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers calipers bore gauges etc.) to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Perform welding (MIG TIG Stick Oxy-Acetylene) and metal spray processes as needed
• Document measurements calculations and work performed in accordance with company standards
• Maintain a safe work environment while operating equipment and completing assigned tasks
