About the School: Irvine Chinese Immersion Academy is the first Public Charter School approved by the Irvine Unified School District. We are the only tuition-free Mandarin dual-immersion program that adapts the progressive immersion model in Orange County California. Our goal is to prepare students to become global citizens through the development of bilingualism biliteracy and cross-cultural competence. We are seeking innovative and experienced educators to join our team!Job Title: Instructional Aide / Small Group Instructor *Accepting bilingual Mandarin/English speakers but all welcomed to Supervisor: School Administrator/ Principal/ Office ManagerPrimary Responsibilities:Primary responsibilities are working in classroom settings under the direction and supervision of a credentialed teacher to provide instructional assistance to students in a dual immersion classroom. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Required Qualifications :Proof of High School Diploma or GED equivalent and completion of two years of higher education studies (48-semester units) OR Possess an Associate of Arts degree Associate of Science degree or higher degree. - Mandarin speaking preferred.- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students colleagues and families.

Preferred Qualifications:- Some experience working with bilingual students and/or families desired- Possess humility strong work ethics and a solution-oriented mindset - Flexibility to adapt and change; ability to strive in a fast-paced dynamic working environment
