Job Description:

The Managing Director Client Pricing and Analytics has responsibility to develop the banks Prime Brokerage franchise offering clients integrated front-to-back solutions with high-touch services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing client pricing and ongoing profitability analysis
  • Managing forecasting processes for internal constituents including treasury finance and global markets management
  • Optimizing principal and client balance sheet usage and build strategies for deploying/utilizing Primes future balance sheet
  • Structuring financing transactions with clients or principally to either reduce financial resource usage or generate revenue
  • Own risk related to bespoke client and principal financing and structured transactions initally the risk will be managed under manager approval with the intention to provide individual rise limits to th role

Depth & Scope:

  • Consults closely with the banks other operations in Canada Europe Asia Pacific and the U.S.
  • Responsible for developing the Institutional Foreign Exchange Sales strategic objectives
  • Provides expert knowledge of market data economic information and key industry developments as well as regulatory standards at all times to assist in maximizing profitability through sound and well informed decisions
  • Position develops and maintains contacts with market participants
  • Observes strict adherence personally and at a desk level to the firms procedures
  • Understands and will comply with TD Securities (USA) Policies regulatory and compliance requirements ensuring that transactions are fully documented and processed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Responsible for executing Profit & Loss supervisory tasks
  • Responsible for practicing and communicating bank policy information and strategy between your product head and relevant trading personnel
  • Responsible for being aware of and understanding the approved Business Strategies (Strategic Business Reviews SBRs) applicable to your business and ensuring that all of your business dealings are in alignment with these strategies
  • In your sales role capacity you must obtain a current market price from an appropriate trader either verbally or electronically before committing to a binding transaction
  • You are bound by Credit Risk Policies and procedures as they apply to your business and are responsible for being aware of and understanding such policies and procedures and ensuring that applicable sales and trading activity is in line with those policies
  • You are required to read and understand the Trading Supervision Standard
  • You are required to demonstrate governance control and risk management behaviors in alignment with TD policies and practices


Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics
  • Series 7 and 63 required
  • 7 years related experience
  • Must be detail oriented and possess problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish priorities
  • Proficient in interpersonal communication (both oral and written) and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
