Manager, Supply Chain

Purpose

The Site Supply Chain Manager is a hands-on operational leader responsible for the day-to-day execution of supply chain activities supporting site operations. Reporting to the Associate Director Materials Management this role leads site planning scheduling inventory management master data and logistics activities to ensure materials capacity and resources are available to support production and business requirements.

The Site Supply Chain Manager works closely with manufacturing purchasing/procurement quality engineering supply planning and warehouse teams to identify challenges resolve issues and drive actions to completion. This role requires a strong presence within site operations regular engagement with cross-functional teams and a willingness to work through operational details to support reliable execution.

As the primary supply chain representative for the site the manager communicates priorities risks and recovery plans aligns stakeholders on actions and decisions and helps establish the processes routines and team capabilities needed to support a growing medical device manufacturing operation. The role balances daily operational execution with team development process improvement and continuous problem solving.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop the site supply chain team.

Directly manage site supply chain personnel responsible for planning scheduling inventory management master data and logistics activities. Establish performance expectations monitor workloads provide coaching and development conduct performance reviews and create a positive and accountable work environment. Participate in hiring onboarding and talent development activities as needed.

2. Own daily site supply chain execution.

Lead daily and weekly reviews of material availability inventory position capacity readiness schedule performance and logistics requirements. Establish priorities assign actions and track progress to completion. Maintain a visible presence in site operations and work directly with team members and site partners to identify and resolve constraints affecting execution.

3. Oversee production scheduling and schedule adherence.

Provide direction and oversight for developing and maintaining an executable production schedule that supports customer commitments and operational objectives. Partner with manufacturing purchasing/procurement quality and planning resources to assess readiness manage constraints and support schedule execution. Ensure proposed changes within the locked schedule period are evaluated for impact and managed through established approval and communication processes.

4. Oversee materials inventory and capacity readiness.

Lead efforts to identify material shortages inventory risks and capacity constraints that could impact production. Review inventory levels planning requirements and material availability to support site operating needs while minimizing disruptions. Facilitate regular reviews of manufacturing capacity labor availability equipment constraints and material readiness to identify risks and coordinate mitigation plans. Partner closely with purchasing/procurement to align material requirements supplier commitments and changing site priorities.

5. Lead operational problem solving and recovery actions.

Serve as the primary escalation point for supply chain issues affecting site execution including shortages scheduling conflicts inventory risks capacity constraints and logistics disruptions. Bring together the appropriate stakeholders to assess impacts establish action ownership and coordinate recovery plans. Drive root cause investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.

6. Represent supply chain in site operations discussions.

Communicate supply chain performance material readiness inventory position capacity risks and recovery plans to the Associate Director Materials Management and site leadership teams. Align stakeholders on priorities timing responsibilities and operational decisions. Ensure changes in business or operational requirements are reflected in supply chain activities.

7. Oversee logistics and partner with warehouse leadership.

Provide oversight of logistics activities that support inbound material flow internal material movement and outbound shipments. Partner closely with warehouse leadership to coordinate priorities resolve operational issues and improve material flow throughout the facility. Ensure effective coordination between supply chain and warehouse functions to support production requirements.

8. Establish effective planning and master data processes.

Support the development and execution of planning routines standard work escalation processes and operating procedures that enable consistent execution. Ensure master data is accurate maintained according to established controls and supports effective ERP/MRP execution. Partner with site teams to improve planning processes system utilization and operational discipline.

9. Support compliant material operations.

Ensure all supply chain activities are executed in compliance with site procedures and quality requirements for regulated medical device manufacturing. Partner with quality manufacturing purchasing/procurement and warehouse teams to ensure material status traceability shelf-life requirements and approved changes are properly managed. Support audit readiness and resolution of supply chain-related quality issues.

10. Manage performance and continuous improvement.

Monitor and improve key performance indicators including material availability inventory health schedule adherence capacity readiness logistics performance and master data accuracy. Use performance trends operational feedback and root cause analysis to improve reliability reduce recurring issues and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Qualifications :

• Min 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management in MNC preferably in pharmaceutical industry.
• Bachelors degree in Production Operations Management Logistics Management Business Administration Accounting Finance or Supply chain management disciplines preferred or equivalent work experience
• Strong teamwork skills required to work effectively in a team environment and establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external supply chain partners.
• Effective written and oral communication skills are required especially in English to facilitate information flow across the supply chain.
• Strong analytical skills are required for KPI and inventory analysis.
• Excellent organization and follow up skills are critical to ensure timely communication across the supply chain

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at  the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors  including  geographic location and we may ultimately  pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be  modified in the future.
