We are looking for a Production Control Manager who owns the execution side of production - translating master schedule into daily shop floor reality resolving disruptions and driving OTD across the value stream. Serves as a critical link between planning/ scheduling and manufacturing operations.

Relocation Assistance will be provided.

What You Will Do

• Monitor daily production status against schedule; identify and escalate variances delays and constraints

• Lead shop-floor expediting: help resolve material shortages team staffing gaps that threaten schedule adherence

• Run weekly production control meetings team meeting/ Health measures meetings

• Manage work order release prioritization and re-sequencing in response to real-time disruptions

• Drive root cause analysis on recurring schedule misses; own corrective action follow-through

• Maintain and improve production tracking systems (MES ERP/SAP) for real-time visibility

• Partner with Master Scheduling to feed back execution constraints into future schedule builds

• Manage a team of production controllers; set priorities and develop/ mentor staff

• Report and manage EOTD/ IOTD/AMS OTD schedule attainment (OTR/OTS/OTF) Aged WIP/NCM E&O and other related metrics to leadership

• Support new program introduction end of life program ramp down rate changes and continuous improvement initiatives (lean/Six Sigma).

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

• Experience leading a team.

• Experience in SAP and/or other ERP system

• Experience in Material management or supply chain or SIOP or Operations.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Advanced knowledge and experience of various MS Office software

• Demonstrated experience in application of Lean tools through CI/Kaizen events.

• Demonstrated problem solving collaboration and influencing others.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Managing resources along with effective time management and organizational skills

• CORE Lean Six Sigma or similar certification.

• APICS CPIM certification.

The salary range for this role is 107500 USD - 204500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
