The Last-Mile Distribution Manager oversees timely compliant delivery of Natura product from our distribution center to licensed retail accounts across the region and owns the inventory control that keeps those accounts supplied. Balancing last-mile execution with fulfillment accuracy this role manages the flow of product from the warehouse to the dispensary planning account replenishment maintaining outbound inventory integrity hitting delivery windows and protecting product and cash in transit so retail partners stay fully stocked with the brands their customers love.

• Own retail account distribution end to end: plan and coordinate replenishment with accounts and sales on order cadence quantities and delivery windows so retail partners stay in stock.

• Plan multi-stop delivery routes to retail accounts balancing delivery windows driver hours and vehicle capacity.

• Maintain outbound inventory accuracy and integrity: oversee pick/pack accuracy reconcile fulfilled orders against manifests and run cycle counts on fulfillment and staging inventory.

• Reconcile Metrc and physical inventory for all outbound product; investigate and resolve discrepancies shrink and in-transit loss.

• Track and improve last-mile and distribution metrics: on-time-in-full (OTIF) fill rate delivery accuracy returns/rejections and route efficiency.

• Manage Metrc manifests transport protocols and chain-of-custody documentation for every shipment.

• Examine outbound shipments and required documents for quality and DCC compliance before dispatch.

• Direct the warehouse fulfillment team through picking staging loading and dispatch; resolve delivery and fulfillment discrepancies with accounts and internal teams.

• Oversee secure cash collection and reconciliation on COD accounts.

• Control stock levels and coordinate with purchasing/distribution to ensure product is available to fulfill account demand without overstock.

• Prepare for and support regulatory inspections and audits.

• Report delivery performance fill rate and account-level service issues to the Director of Distribution.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Valid California drivers license and clean driving record.

• 5 years in distribution fulfillment or logistics leadership; cannabis industry experience strongly preferred.

• Hands-on Metrc and manifest management experience.

• Experience with inventory control fulfillment accuracy and cycle counts in a warehouse or distribution setting.

• Strong analytical skills for inventory route and performance data.

• Knowledge of California cannabis transport distribution and inventory compliance.

Directly supervises the warehouse fulfillment team including scheduling coaching and performance management.

On-site Sacramento distribution campus with field oversight of deliveries to retail accounts; regular exposure to raw cannabis flower and products.

Must be able to talk hear stand walk and handle products. Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs and periods of driving may be required.
