About the Global Enterprise Communications Team:

The full-spectrum Capital One Global Enterprise Communications team is responsible for all aspects of the companys communications strategy and execution in order to propel business imperatives while promoting and protecting the reputation of Capital One. Our purview includes corporate and brand media relations issues and reputation management financial communications and associate communications as well as a full-service content and creative storytelling team that brings the story of Capital One to life on internal and external channels. We are communicators writers creative directors and multimedia experts and we are all storytellers. As a central team within Global Enterprise Affairs we are strategic counselors to our partners throughout the enterprise sitting at the intersection of value creation and risk mitigation. We help drive business initiatives forward while enhancing the reputation of Capital One.

About the Role:
As a Manager on the Innovation & Tech Communications team you will lead internal and executive communications for Enterprise Product organizations and their this role you will serve as a strategic communications advisor to senior leaders building data-informed communication strategies that align with business goals drive associate engagement and foster organizational clarity.

This position requires exceptional judgment an ability to build relationships in a highly matrixed environment and a sustained focus on delivering results. Creative problem-solving an ability to read the data and the room and a passion for storytelling are all critical to success in this role. Empathy teamwork and a sense of humor are essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and execute internal communications strategies that directly support business goals leveraging associate feedback and internal metrics to measure impact.

• Partner with senior leaders to craft executive communications translating business objectives and organizational updates into compelling narratives that drive alignment.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure consistent messaging manage communication cadences and support key business initiatives.

• Contribute to team-wide efforts to develop scalable processes ensure operational excellence and stay informed about industry trends to inform and enhance strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or military experience

• At least 5 years of communications experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting enterprise software digital products or tech-adjacent business units in a large enterprise environment.

• Proven track record of using internal data associate sentiment and metrics to shape business-aligned communication strategies.

• Experience advising senior leaders and managing communications through strategic business shifts or enterprise initiatives.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Plano TX: $122100 - $139400 for Communications Manager

McLean VA: $134400 - $153300 for Communications Manager

Richmond VA: $122100 - $139400 for Communications Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
