Here youll do more than join something youll add something. nnThe Apple Foundation Models team is looking for a manager for the engineering program manager (EPM) team responsible for Engineering Tools. You will lead a team of Program Managers to drive infrastructure u0026 tools for training evaluation and deployment of Foundation Models and Apple Intelligence features across Apple products.

In this role you will manage a team of Engineering Program Managers who drive large cross-functional infrastructure u0026 tools programs in the AI/ML space. This requires partnering with engineering management to facilitate all aspects of projects: define schedule prioritize track proactively manage and communicate status of projects. Your team will lead efforts that bring together multiple machine learning modeling technologies as well as other cross-functional partners in areas such as software engineering infrastructure data collection evaluation and other organizations within Apple. nnYou should bring solid experience in system software and project management strong communication and leadership skills and a track record of driving and delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication is key as you drive projects forward prioritize work facilitate the removal of obstacles and escalate should demonstrate high integrity high energy and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment. You will need to build strong collaborative relationships and calmly manage any associated conflicts along the way. You will be responsible for successful outcomes and delivery driving your projects with a keen eye for important details and communicating clearly on status and risks. BS/MS in Computer Science Engineering or related : At least 1 year managing a team of program Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project or program management leading cross-functional software engineering teams in large organizations. Candidates should be comfortable structuring new programs and leading multiple work streams Proficiency: Solid understanding of system architecture design trade-offs with thorough understanding of testing build and release processes for complex software or machine learning Leadership: Proven ability to lead influence and resolve conflicts within large complex teams. Must demonstrate analytical thinking problem-solving skills and a product Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation negotiation and the ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly.

Prior experience in hands-on software development or machine collaboration skills working together with different teams and fostering to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic work and passion for new technologies and proven ability to quickly understand technical concepts.
