B5 Recruiting is partnering with a large property management organization that is looking to hire several Maintenance Technicians. As a Maintenance tech youll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to their residence ensuring the property is safe attractive and well-maintained. Youll work closely with our property management team and gain hands-on experience in a variety of trades. This role will be a contract to hire opportunity.
What Youll Do
What Youll Do
- Prepare apartments for new residents (turns & move-outs)
- Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
- Keep exterior areas clean and well-presented (curb appeal)
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance
- Daily trash pickup and grounds upkeep
- Maintain trash compactors and swimming pools (in season)
- Troubleshoot and repair:
- Plumbing
- Basic electrical
- Appliances
- Carpentry & drywall
- Roofing & flooring
- Check irrigation systems
- Maintain accurate records of work and materials used
- Participate in the on-call maintenance rotation
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 13 months of related experience (preferred but not required)
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Your own set of tools
- Certifications such as HVAC CFC or CPO (preferred but not required)
