As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings industrial systems and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function responsible for providing support preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical electrical and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections diagnose potential problems and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear concise manner.
- Impact team through defined duties methods and tasks as described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
- Work exclusively on the automation portion of the facility.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on automation machines that process items to be distributed.

- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word Excel Outlook).

- Reliability
- Lockout/tagout (LOTO) knowledge
- High School Diploma GED or trade school diploma required.
- In lieu of a diploma a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- 02 years of job-related experience.
- 1.2 million sq. ft. distribution facility.
- Candidate will be working with a team.
- All required tools will be provided.
- Must meet physical requirements including stooping standing walking and climbing stairs/ladders.
- Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Overtime applicable per assignment requirements.
- Background check required: CBRE Safety Specific with drug screen.
- Interview process: 1st round phone screen; 2nd round in-person with site tour.
- Contract-to-hire potential conversion to full-time employment is possible.
