Major Tasks Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesKnowledge of mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systemsStrong understanding of general maintenance processes and methodsPerform Preventative Maintenance of equipment per OEM standardsMechanical troubleshooting of equipment fixtures and toolingMIG / Stick welding and oxyacetylene cuttingUtilize a sense of urgency when completing assigned tasks / equipment fixture and tooling repairsComplete daily work orders / PMs according to their assigned level of importanceMaintain accurate work order information within the maintenance management systemFollow downtime escalation process to ensure Maintenance / Operations leadership teams are kept up to date Experienced in operating a variety of equipment including cranes hoists forklifts scissor / boom lifts and common power toolsMaintain a safe / clean work environment by complying with procedures and with technicians Engineers Maintenance Leadership and Technical Support Contractors to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical problemsSupport project work and continuous improvement effortsPerform adjustments and/or make corrections on equipment to reach optimum capabilitiesOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications3-5 years of maintenance support experienceMust pass any drug screens background checks and any pre-employment tests which will be conducted in accordance with applicable QualificationsTechnical Certificate or associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience 5-7 years of maintenance support experienceJourneyman status or equivalent in a specific trade skill (i.e.: millwright ironworker electrician etc.)Knowledge Skills Abilities & CompetenciesCapable of interpreting drawings diagrams and schematicsOperate designated machinery and proactive service equipment as neededAbility to work individually and be self-directed with minimum supervisionEffective working in a team to operate equipment as needed lift loads climb ladders wear a respirator and perform strenuous laborManufacturing process knowledge in the areas of: Assembly Fabrication and PaintSound analytical skills with a practical balance of shop floor experienceStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsJob ConditionsManufacturing/factory environment.
