DPP is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.
Work Location: Onsite in Ronkonkoma NY
Duration: 8 months
Shift: 7:30AM-4:00PM or 5:00PM
Terms: W2 Contract
Work Authorization: US Citizen

Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities or on machines and equipment.
- Typically perform work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry plumbing painting machine and equipment repair electrical sheet metal fabrication and welding.
- Conduct routine periodic or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities machinery and equipment.
- Use hand and power tools.
- Test inspect troubleshoot and repair machines and equipment.
- Use blueprints sketches layouts wiring diagrams drawings and specifications.
- Minimum 10 years experience in aerospace industry or related field.
- Deep knowledge of mechanical and Pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work on and around High pressure and combustible gases.
- Must have ability to operate small hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
- Ability to work independently and safely.
- Ability to work with mechanical devices.
- Ability to work well with others and be part of the team.
- Ability to follow instructions and describe work performed.
- Knowledge of Soldering Welding and brazing techniques a plus.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic work environment (i.e. come in early stay late offset lunch / break when required).
- High School diploma or equivalent.
