Maintenance Technician II

As a Maintenance Technician II you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our resorts facilities. Your expertise in hospitality maintenance will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of service and guest satisfaction. • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities including guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical plumbing and HVAC issues promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and ensure the hotels systems are functioning optimally.
• Maintain and repair swimming pool and spa equipment ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with guests and address any maintenance-related concerns or requests.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and document all repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance staff sharing your knowledge and expertise.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality maintenance with a focus on electrical plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Basic knowledge of pool maintenance and operation is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Good physical condition and the ability to lift and carry moderate weights.
• Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in maintenance or related fields are an asset.
