Maintenance Technician II
Job Summary
Reporting to the Pilot Plant Manager you will support the Omaha Pilot Plant by developing and implementing technical solutions for research and development projects. You will work onsite five days per week and provide electrical mechanical fabrication and contractor-supported expertise to maintain and improve pilot plant operations. You will test inspect maintain repair troubleshoot install fabricate set up and operate pilot plant equipment while supporting preventive maintenance programs continuous improvement initiatives and pilot plant capabilities.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technical solutions including electrical mechanical fabrication and contractor-supported solutions for research and development projects.
- Test inspect maintain repair troubleshoot install fabricate set up and operate pilot plant equipment as needed.
- Train employees temporary associates and contractors on equipment operation maintenance practices and safety requirements.
- Evaluate and introduce new technical developments that support research and development and pilot plant activities.
- Participate in cost savings initiatives through planning documentation and implementation.
- Establish manage and document preventive maintenance programs.
- Manage spare parts inventory for assigned equipment.
- Initiate and implement modifications and improvements that reduce maintenance costs and increase pilot plant capabilities.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Minimum of 4 years of related maintenance experience required.
- Experience in food pharmaceutical or personal care manufacturing environments preferred.
- Experience in one or more of the following maintenance disciplines: Machine and equipment repair Metal equipment and part fabrication Welding Metal lathe operation Equipment troubleshooting and diagnostics Electrical systems programmable logic controllers and controls Computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing software including SolidWorks
- Knowledge of United States Department of Agriculture Food and Drug Administration Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Physical Requirements

Being on your feet walking around the facility climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
Frequently lifting pushing or carrying materials.

Compensation
Pay Range:$60000-$80000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employees actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal Conagra employees Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
