- Contract Duration: 5 months (possible extension; potential to convert to full-time)
- Pay Rate: $30.00$31.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: First 68 weeks will be a training period MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. After training: MondayFriday 6:00 AM 4:00 PM. Candidates will work rotating shifts; every 4 weeks their days off will shift.

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings industrial systems and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical electrical and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections diagnose potential problems and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear concise manner.
- Impact team through defined duties methods and tasks as described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word Excel Outlook etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Basic computer skills.
- Highly professional attitude.
- Good customer service skills.
- Applicable licensing (none required; applicable licensing is preferred).
- High School Diploma GED or trade school diploma with 57 years of job-related lieu of a diploma a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- 57 years of job-related experience in a maintenance or facilities technician role.
- Work site is currently under construction.
- Working as part of a team with independent work responsibilities.
- Work orders will be assigned through a work order management system.
- Rotating shift schedule; every 4 weeks days off will shift.
- Overtime expectations apply.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping standing walking climbing stairs/ladders and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Background package: CBRE Safety Specific with drug screen required.
