Maintenance Technician

Were seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment solving mechanical challenges and keeping operations running this role youll be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment supporting facility operations and helping improve reliability across the plant.

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment

• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions

• Maintain accurate records of repairs inspections and maintenance activities

• Assist with equipment installations upgrades and modifications

• Identify and address safety concerns related to equipment and work areas

Reliability & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules

• Monitor equipment performance and identify ways to reduce downtime

• Investigate recurring issues and implement long-term solutions

• Recommend improvements to equipment processes and workflows

• Support operational efficiency and waste reduction initiatives

Inventory & Facility Support

• Maintain critical spare parts inventory and track usage

• Coordinate ordering of maintenance parts and supplies

• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs as needed

• Support production teams with equipment-related issues and workflow improvements

• Maintain clean organized and safe work areas

• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills

• Working knowledge of mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems

• Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability practices

• Ability to read technical drawings schematics manuals and work instructions

• Comfortable using hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

• Basic computer skills including spreadsheets email and maintenance tracking systems

• Willingness to assist across operations as business needs evolve

Required

• High school diploma or GED

• 2 years of maintenance experience in any industry

Preferred

• Technical training or certification in Industrial Maintenance Mechanical Systems Electrical Systems Welding or a related field

• 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing industrial construction or production environment

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment

• Experience performing preventive maintenance and maintaining maintenance records

• Forklift lift equipment or other industrial equipment experience

• Experience in building materials wood products manufacturing or a related industry is a plus

This role is performed in both office and manufacturing settings and requires regular time on the production floor yard and receiving areas. Youll work around machinery forklifts and moving materials and may occasionally be exposed to non-temperature-controlled environments.

Physical requirements include:

• Frequent standing walking bending reaching and lifting

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

• Occasional stair climbing

• Regular use of near and far vision hearing and verbal communication
