Job Summary

The Role


We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations through the installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment and systems.


This role is critical to keeping production equipment operating safely reliably and efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with Maintenance and Production teams to minimize downtime identify equipment issues complete preventive maintenance and support equipment installations and upgrades.


This is a full-time on-site position within our Manufacturing operations and reports to the Maintenance Manager.



What Youll Do


Equipment Maintenance & Repair

  • Install maintain troubleshoot and repair industrial and manufacturing equipment
  • Set up controls and adjust machine settings as needed
  • Inspect mechanical and electrical systems to ensure proper operation
  • Perform lubrication alignment calibration and other routine equipment maintenance
  • Replace bearings belts motors drives sensors and other components as needed
  • Assist with installation and setup of new equipment and equipment upgrades

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic equipment issues
  • Troubleshoot PLC-related equipment problems
  • Read and interpret technical manuals schematics blueprints and equipment documentation
  • Monitor equipment for malfunctions defects unusual noises or changes in performance
  • Identify problems quickly and take appropriate corrective action to reduce downtime

Preventive Maintenance

  • Perform daily and scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery and auxiliary equipment
  • Complete maintenance logs and documentation accurately
  • Coordinate maintenance activities around production schedules and operational needs
  • Identify developing equipment concerns before they result in unexpected failures

Safety & Compliance

  • Perform safety checks to ensure equipment guards controls and safety devices are functioning properly
  • Follow company safety requirements lockout/tagout procedures and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean organized and hazard-free work area
  • Identify and communicate unsafe equipment conditions or maintenance concerns

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Production and Maintenance team members to minimize equipment downtime
  • Communicate equipment status repair needs and completed work clearly
  • Support maintenance projects equipment modifications and plant improvement initiatives
  • Respond to equipment issues and help maintain efficient day-to-day plant operations



What Youll Bring


  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Working knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment and components including:
    • Bearings belts conveyors motors and drives
    • Sensors and pneumatic systems
    • Lighting and DC lifts
    • Industrial threading equipment
  • Working knowledge of 480V three-phase electrical systems
  • Understanding of basic AC/DC electrical principles
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics technical manuals and blueprints
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and follow lockout/tagout procedures
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to accurately document maintenance work and completed repairs
