Lakewood National Golf Club located in Bradenton FL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Technician! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Performs minor plumbing electrical carpentry and general maintenance repairs
- Conducts routine inspections of buildings equipment and mechanical systems to identify maintenance needs
- Completes preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems according to established schedules
- Responds promptly to maintenance requests including emergency service calls; assesses the nature of each issue and determines the resources required to resolve it
- Troubleshoots and repairs facility-related issues while minimizing disruption to Club operations
- Communicates regularly with the Operations Manager regarding outstanding work orders project status and maintenance concerns
- Maintains accurate records of completed work and preventive maintenance activities
- Performs general cleaning and housekeeping duties in maintenance areas and common facilities
- Assists with special projects event setup and other duties as assigned
- Previous experience in building maintenance facilities maintenance or a related field is required
- Working knowledge of plumbing electrical HVAC and general building systems
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform repairs safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in indoor and outdoor environments
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Flexibility to work one weekend day evenings or holidays as needed
