Maintenance Tech | Doubletree by Hilton DFW North | Irving, Tx

This position will work PM shifts and some AM shifts 40 hrs/ week.

Heres a snapshot of a typical day:

• Making repairs to electrical plumbing heating air conditioning and refrigeration equipment as needed with minimum downtime.
• Conducting welding carpentry painting (including residential painting) and facilities equipment maintenance
• Ensuring that chemicals and hazardous materials are used and stored properly and that all required reporting is done accurately.
• Lead minor renovation projects or facility upgrades with attention to safety protocols and quality standards
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff ensuring minimal disruption.

Where Youve Been:

Were looking for someone with a High School diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of one years trade-related and/or training in mechanical electrical HVAC plumbing carpentry and building maintenance. Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools doesnt hurt either. When Youre Here:

This is not a job where you sit behind a desk. Be prepared to move around because more than half of the time you will be standing/sitting carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds walking bending/twisting climbing stairs and more. Must be able to sit or stand for 8 hours at a time and position oneself to repair things in hard to reach areas and occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to service the lights/roof and make other necessary repairs. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays.
