Maintenance Team Lead

We are currently hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance Team Lead for our Womeldorf location to work with guide and help keep food production running safely and efficiently. This position serves as a lead maintenance resource while working alongside the team to troubleshoot repair and maintain production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities and help coordinate priorities based on production and maintenance needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance emergency repairs and equipment adjustments.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and pneumatic equipment issues.
• Provide technical guidance and follow-up while working alongside maintenance technicians.
• Communicate equipment status repair updates and shift-transition information.
• Complete work orders preventive maintenance tasks and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
• Support equipment reliability continuous improvement safe work practices and a clean work area.

Qualifications

• At least two years of industrial maintenance experience; food processing or food manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical electrical and pneumatic systems; knowledge of welding and PLCs is helpful.
• Ability to lead by example communicate clearly set priorities and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Dependable self-motivated approach with strong time management teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow LOTO GMP PPE food safety company safety and maintenance documentation requirements.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This position works in maintenance and production areas within a food manufacturing facility. The employee may work around moving equipment wet or cold areas temperature changes noise forklifts production traffic and sanitation chemicals. The role requires standing walking bending reaching climbing kneeling and crouching as well as lifting carrying pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds.

Schedule

This is a full-time hourly position generally scheduled Monday through Friday. Overtime schedule changes or weekend work may be required based on operational and maintenance needs.
