Our client is a food manufacturer operating a production plant in New Kensington Pennsylvania. Relocation assistance is available.
As the 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor you will lead maintenance teams in the installation repair and preventive maintenance of critical equipment across the plant facilities utilities and powerhouse. The goal is to minimize mechanical downtime and keep product flow and production lines running at their peak.
- Lead teams of maintenance mechanics and electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance and machine repairs.
- Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
- Supervise and support maintenance systems processes and documentation.
- Schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production to address equipment and facility repairs.
- Develop and implement maintenance systems (preventive and predictive maintenance TPM SOPs safety).
- Provide long-term solutions and day-to-day support for troubleshooting problem analysis and equipment failures.
- Develop and maintain KPIs for maintenance performance and report status to maintenance management.
- Make sure maintenance work complies with USDA regulations and keep accurate records of work performed and inventory.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field and 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience leading others through training coaching or mentoring or through managing a process or project
- Ability to lead problem-solving and troubleshooting on high-level process issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Good planning and priority-setting skills
- Advanced technical skills in ammonia refrigeration high-pressure boilers compressed air and mechanical and electrical fields (PLCs instrumentation)
- Knowledge of maintenance systems work order processes preventive/predictive maintenance TPM and inventory and scheduling software
- Food manufacturing experience
- Bilingual
REVENUE: Net 12.5% of first-year salary. Est. fee per hire $10K-$12.5K; 1 seat(s) up to $12.5K if all filled.

BEST-FIT CANDIDATE: 2 years of maintenance supervision in a food / meat / beverage plant (other fast-paced manufacturing is second best); must work 2nd shift. Ammonia refrigeration and bilingual are pluses. On-site New Kensington PA; client work authorization no sponsorship.
