Job Summary
Delcastle Golf Course located in Wilmington DE is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Maintenance Staff! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Performs general housekeeping and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to: electrical mechanical and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds
- Maintains cleanliness and appearance of the exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans sweeping walkways picking up litter and arranging outdoor furniture
- Assures the maintenance of the tennis courts and swimming pool
- Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays sweeping vacuuming dusting and arranging furniture
- Identifies when supplies are needed and reports to the supervisor
- Performs other duties as required
- Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Frequently uses hands and reaches with hands and arms
- Regularly climbs balances stoops kneels crouches crawls stands walks and sits
- Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles
- Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
- Noise level is moderate
- No certifications or licenses are required
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; equipment manuals may be in English)
