Were growing and looking for an assertive self-motivated sales professional to join our Minneapolis-area team as a Maintenance Sales Representative. This is a true new-business development role for someone who is energized by prospecting opening doors and building a sales territory from the ground up.
Success in this position requires a proactive approach to business development strong initiative and a commitment to consistent daily prospecting. You will spend significant time cold calling visiting businesses knocking on doors networking and creating new opportunities throughout your assigned territory.
If you are a competitive confident B2B salesperson who enjoys building relationships pursuing new customers and closing business this could be your next big opportunity. Youll receive a designated territory comprehensive training (no industry experience required) and an uncapped commission structure along with the support of an established brand and experienced service team.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Persistently prospect and develop new business throughout your assigned territory.
- Maintain a high level of daily cold calling and outbound sales activity.
- Identify and connect with key decision-makers through phone calls site visits networking referrals and other prospecting methods.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in commercial and industrial markets.
Consultative Sales & Solutions
- Promote and sell HVAC plumbing millwright and docks and doors maintenance service agreements.
- Conduct site visits and facility assessments to develop solutions tailored to each customers needs.
- Prepare and present proposals overcome objections and close new business.
Customer & Service Team Partnership
- Collaborate with service teams to ensure excellent delivery and customer satisfaction.
Sales Performance & Accountability
- Accurately track prospecting activity opportunities and performance using CRM tools.
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales activity and revenue targets.
Requirements
- Experience in sales
- Excellent communication negotiation presentation skills
- Self- motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Customer focused mindset
- Maintain access to a safe reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license for travel to customer sites throughout the assigned territory.

- Competitive base salary of $75000-$90000 depending on experience.
