Maintenance Planner Scheduler Grand Forks, ND

The Maintenance Planner assists in administering and directing the maintenance planning and scheduling functions in a safe cost effective and timely manner. This role is accountable for the effective utilization and administration of contracts and contractors.

• Ensures the accurate and timely tracking of department costs consistent with Divisional and Corporate standards.
• Ensures the development maintenance and recording of a parts list and information library for all assigned equipment.
• Maintains computerized maintenance management system and database for record keeping preventive / predictive and reporting purposes.
• Ensures crew scheduling is completed in a timely manner consistent with operating requirements and complies with company and legal requirements.
• Ensures maintenance requests are tracked and reviewed on a weekly basis including Food Safety Employee Safety and Repair activity.
• Ensures that the interface with other support groups is conducted in a participative management style; ensures interface with contractors vendors and customers is handled in a professional manner.
• Supports capital project planning and plant downtime tracking/reporting requirements.
• Ensures that additional accountabilities as may be required by management be handled in a manner necessary to meet operational and Division standards.
