Schedule: Day Shift MondayFriday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: Starting at $34/hour based on experience
The Maintenance Job Planner is responsible for planning coordinating and optimizing maintenance and sanitation activities to maximize equipment reliability operational efficiency and overall plant performance. This position serves as a key facilitator of maintenance planning and problem-solving processes ensuring maintenance resources materials and schedules are effectively aligned with operational requirements.
The Maintenance Job Planner works closely with Maintenance Engineering Operations and external vendors to support preventive maintenance programs equipment reliability initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Develop detailed maintenance and sanitation work plans for weekends shutdowns and planned outages.
Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to maximize labor materials and equipment utilization.
Prepare maintenance work packages including:
Job scope
Labor requirements
Safety considerations
Parts and material availability
Coordinate parts kitting and material staging for maintenance and engineering projects.
Ensure maintenance activities are planned and executed with minimal disruption to production operations.
Analyze equipment failures and breakdown trends to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Prioritize equipment improvement initiatives using:
Breakdown history
Maintenance data
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Review develop and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Create revise and maintain PM procedures and schedules.
Champion and maintain maintenance FMEA processes throughout the facility.
Assist in identifying and classifying critical equipment to support reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on asset performance and operational efficiency.
Coordinate maintenance and engineering projects from planning through execution.
Collaborate with Engineering Operations and Maintenance teams on:
Capital projects
Equipment upgrades
Continuous improvement initiatives
Interface with OEMs contractors vendors and customers regarding maintenance-related activities and technical support.
Track project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Facilitate maintain and audit the Planned Maintenance system to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Lead Preventive Maintenance planning meetings and provide relevant maintenance metrics and performance data.
Monitor key maintenance performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend process improvements.
Maintain accurate maintenance documentation records and planning systems.
Ensure CMMS data integrity and support ongoing system improvements.
Participate in and support the following recurring meetings:
Daily Global Facilities Reporting Meetings
Weekly Preventive Maintenance Planning Meetings
Weekly Weekend Planning Meetings
Monthly Maintenance FMEA Review Meetings
Associate degree in Maintenance Engineering Technology Industrial Technology or a related field preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education training and relevant maintenance planning experience will be considered.
35 years of maintenance reliability planning or manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with:
Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs
Maintenance planning and scheduling
Knowledge of industrial equipment manufacturing processes and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
Strong planning organizational and project coordination skills.
Ability to analyze maintenance data and identify improvement opportunities.
Working knowledge of:
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Preventive Maintenance methodologies
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS platforms.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
