BlackRock Resources is hiring experienced Maintenance Mechanics for a manufacturing client located just outside of Las Vegas Nevada.

Were looking for hands-on mechanically inclined problem-solvers who know their way around industrial equipment and enjoy keeping production lines running.

If you have experience with automated packaging equipment electrical troubleshooting PLCs hydraulics and pneumatics we want to hear from you!

• Troubleshoot diagnose and repair industrial manufacturing and automated packaging equipment.

• Identify and resolve mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.

• Troubleshoot PLCs motor controls electrical circuits and solid-state equipment.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics equipment manuals and mechanical drawings.

• Repair and maintain pumps motors conveyors and other production equipment.

• Perform welding soldering and general mechanical repairs as needed.

• Support facility systems including compressed air steam hot water and refrigeration.

• Identify replacement parts and materials needed for equipment repairs.

• Maintain a safe clean work environment while following food safety and GMP standards.

• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.

• Experience maintaining and repairing automated packaging machinery.

• Working knowledge of PLCs hydraulics pneumatics pumps and motor controls.

• Ability to safely troubleshoot low- and high-voltage electrical systems.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.

• Welding and general fabrication skills.

• Understanding of food safety GMPs and manufacturing safety practices.

• Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude assessment with a minimum score of 60%.
