Shift: 1st Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
Description:

• Client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support manufacturing operations by maintaining troubleshooting repairing and improving plant equipment and utility systems.
• This position plays a critical role in ensuring production equipment operates safely efficiently and reliably while supporting preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives.
• The Maintenance Mechanic will serve as a technical resource to manufacturing engineering and operations teams responding to equipment issues performing planned maintenance activities and driving continuous improvement efforts to minimize downtime and maximize production throughput.

• Perform preventive predictive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic filling packaging and conveying equipment.
• Respond to equipment failures diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Perform welding fabrication piping installation pump and motor repairs and equipment rebuilds.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical documentation.
• Maintain maintenance records spare parts inventory and repair documentation.
• Support production operations while ensuring compliance with FDA GMP OSHA USDA and Client standards.

• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance manufacturing maintenance or mechanical/electrical technician experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience working with electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience supporting high-speed manufacturing or packaging equipment.

• Food pharmaceutical medical device or regulated manufacturing environment experience.
• Experience working within FDA/GMP-regulated facilities.
• Experience troubleshooting high-speed filling packaging and conveying systems.
• Experience with barcode scanners inkjet printers and automated production equipment.
• Experience with CMMS or computerized maintenance management systems.
• Experience performing TIG MIG or stainless-steel welding.
• Industrial electrical experience and knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC).

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification vocational training apprenticeship or military maintenance experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and hands-on maintenance experience will be considered.
