Maintenance & Construction Technician

PMC Services (PMCS) a division of Priestley Management Company is looking for a skilled Maintenance & Construction Technician to join our growing team.

This is more than a typical maintenance position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship enjoys solving problems and is comfortable performing a wide variety of residential and commercial maintenance and construction tasks.

The ideal candidate is dependable self-motivated and able to work independently while providing excellent customer service to homeowners property managers and board members.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and construction repairs for residential and commercial properties.

• Troubleshoot and repair drywall painting carpentry roofing siding gutters doors windows fencing and other building components.

• Complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs.

• Safely work from extension ladders step ladders and rooftops when required.

• Assist with roofing exterior repairs and larger construction projects.

• Read scopes of work and follow project specifications.

• Document completed work with photos and detailed notes using mobile software.

• Identify additional maintenance concerns and communicate findings to management.

• Maintain a clean organized company vehicle and work area.

• Work closely with the Operations and Project Management teams to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

• Qualifications

  • Minimum of 35 years of maintenance or construction experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of general carpentry drywall painting roofing siding gutters and exterior building maintenance.

  • Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting experience.

  • Comfortable working on ladders and rooftops.

  • Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as needed.

  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

  • Strong work ethic attention to detail and professional communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Construction management or project coordination experience is a plus.
