Job Description

We are looking for aMainframe Analystto analyze maintain and enhance existing mainframe applications while extracting and documenting business rules.

What Youll Do

• Analyze existingCOBOL/CICS/DB2/MQprograms to extract and document business logic and rules
• Review batch processing systems including JCLs and procedures to document program workflows
• Perform analysis design coding and testing of application code owned by the Application Team
• Support production systems including maintenance enhancements and issue resolution
• Develop or modify programs andDB2stored procedures and performunit testing
• Collaborate with IT and business units to design and implement technical solutions forcase management systems
• Participate in system andusability testingalongside business users
• Create and maintain comprehensivetechnical documentation
• Work under the supervision of the AOC Project Manager or designated IT representative

What Youll Need Required:

• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study

8 years of experience with:

• COBOL/CICS/DB2coding testing and debugging
• IBM OS/JCL(MVS)
• CICS
• IBM DB2
• Developing technical and supporting documentation
• Participating in system andusability testingwith users
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience coding complexDB2stored procedures
• Experience withMQorAPPC/LU 6.2programming inCOBOL-CICS
• Stronganalytical skillswith the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Preferred:

• Experience withIDMS/DCtoCICSconversions
• Experience withIDMStoDB2conversions
• Experience withdatabase conversions
• Prior experience supportingcase management systemsor judiciary-related applications

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
• Sedentary work that involves sitting most of the time with occasional movement for meetings
• Ability to perform repetitive computer tasks using a keyboard mouse and monitor
