As a Magento Adobe Commerce Developer you will be responsible for architecting and building scalable eCommerce solutions within the Experience Engineering and Digital Emerging Tech portfolios Working for a global FMCG leader you will develop highperformance B2B and B2C platforms that integrate seamlessly with a hyperscalerheavy application landscape This role focuses on extending Magentos core capabilities to support complex FMCG workflows mobile commerce and emerging digital consumer journeys

Key Responsibilities

• eCommerce Development Design and develop custom modules themes and extensions for Magento 2 Adobe Commerce ensuring high performance and scalability
• Experience Engineering Implement Headless Commerce architectures using Magentos PWA Studio or custom ReactNextjs frontends to deliver superior user experiences
• API Integration Build and consume RESTGraphQL APIs to integrate Magento with hyperscalerhosted services eg GCP Cloud Run ERP systems SAP and CRM platforms Salesforce
• Performance Optimization Optimize Magento for hightraffic FMCG flash sales and seasonal peaks focusing on Varnish caching Redis and database query tuning
• Mobile Commerce Support Mobile Application teams by providing robust backend APIs and ensuring a MobileFirst checkout and catalog experience
• Emerging Tech Pilots Collaborate on Digital Emerging Tech initiatives such as AIdriven product recommendations voicecommerce connectors and ARbased product visualization within the Magento storefront
• CloudNative Deployment Manage Magento deployments on hyperscaler infrastructure eg AzureGCPAWS utilizing Docker Kubernetes and automated CICD pipelines
• Security Compliance Implement enterprisegrade security patches PCIDSS compliance measures and secure payment gateway integrations
• Senior Developer Specifics Lead technical design for complex commerce modules perform rigorous code reviews following Magento coding standards and mentor junior developers in PHPMagento best practices

Primary Skills MustHave

• Platform Expertise Deep handson experience with Magento 2x Open Source or Adobe Commerce
• Core Languages Expertlevel proficiency in PHP OOP Design Patterns and MySQL
• Frontend Strong understanding of Magentos layout system XML Knockoutjs and RequireJS
• API Extensive experience with Web Services RESTGraphQL and OAuth2
• Architecture Solid understanding of Magentos EAV model indexing and caching mechanisms
