Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to support a diverse mix of repair custom prototype and production work. This role must preserve the craftsmanship and technical expertise our existing team has while helping the organization continue to advance - through technology innovation and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will help bridge traditional machining knowledge with the next generation of manufacturing capabilities; by respecting traditional machining methods and understanding when manual work provides value while also embracing CNC technology automation and lean principles to achieve the best overall result.

Duties

• Set up and operate manual mills lathes grinders drill presses and CNC machining centers.
• Interpret engineering drawings blueprints models specifications and work instructions.
• Determine appropriate machining processes tooling speeds feeds and setups.
• Manufacture custom parts repair components tooling fixtures and production items to required tolerances.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment including micrometers calipers indicators bore gauges and other inspection tools to perform quality inspections.
• Collaborate with departmental personnel to develop practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency reduce waste and streamline processes.

Compensation may differ within or outside range based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience qualifications specialized skills education geographic location and internal pay equity considerations.
