ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:

• Operate CNC Machines and Horizontal Milling Machines. This includes making programs using 2D and 3D all accurately and efficiently.
• Operate a variety of small machines tools and equipment.
• Carry out quality checks on an ongoing basis to ensure job is within tolerance.
• Provide continuous guidance to Tool & Die Associates as assigned.
• Abide by all safety and non-safety plant rules and regulations.
• Maintain stock of all machine cutters and carbide inserts.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices.
• Perform other duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

• Associatedegree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year experience and/or training; or Technical Apprenticeship with Certification or Journeyman Card; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE/ TECHNICAL TRAINING:

• Familiar with Fanuc and Fidia controls and run 3 and 5-axis machines.
• Preferred CAD experience.
• Must be able to read/interpret blueprints accurately

Pay range: $30.10 - $38.98 per hour
