Job Summary:

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Mold Technician Set-Up / Technician working on 2nd shift! In this energetic role you will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance team in conducting activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures to increase the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line. Your expertise will ensure smooth production processes uphold safety standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

• Responds to emergencies/breakdowns.
• Reports all recurring problems with machinery equipment and parts that can be identified and addressed for record-keeping.
• Sets calibration and adjusts equipment machinery and instruments to comply with production specifications and instructions.

• Executes the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines.

• Ensures adherence to the collaboration objectives of the team to maximize results for ABB.
• Leads their own development journey by seeking knowledge and learning opportunities within the team.
• Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.

Experience:

* High School Diploma/GED required

* 0 - 2 years of proven experience operating plastic injection molding machinery in a manufacturing environment.

* Operational knowledge of electric pallet jacks overhead cranes etc.

* Working knowledge of production flow and processes

* Adequate interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)

• * Injection molding technical education is preferred
