Machine Operator - Lathe
Local Steel Warehouse Charlotte NC $25/hr Full-Time
Are you ready to join a strong safety-focused team with long-term stability and real opportunities to grow Were hiring a Lathe MachineOperator with general warehouse experience to support operations at our steel processing facility in CharlotteNC.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
- $25.00/hour
- Overtime Available
- No nights or weekends
What Youll Do
- Operate machines to cut steel to exact specifications
- Handle materials such as bar tubing plate sheet and structural steel
- Use forklifts cranes and side loaders (well train you!)
- Verify sizes and order accuracy using tape measures and heat numbers
- Help check in rack and color-code incoming materials
- Keep your workspace clean safe and organized
What Were Looking For
- Steel industry background preferred
- Can read a tape measure accurately
- Solid basic math and measurement skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to train and operate warehouse equipment safely
