Machine Operator II (#3332)
Job Summary
You will operate set up and program industrial machines to produce aerospace-quality components ensuring parts meet strict tolerances. You will work onsite across various shifts (1st 2nd and weekend options; rotating schedules) and collaborate with production leads and quality personnel to maintain consistent output and safety.
- Set up machines and tooling to yield parts that conform to customer-designed tolerances
- Follow written instructions sketches drawings and related documentation
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and part quality
- Enter required documentation into the manufacturing planning and paperless timecard systems
- Perform work according to established standards and safety procedures
- Operate under direct oversight and ask for clarification when needed
- Familiarity with machine tools precision instruments and good manual dexterity
- Basic understanding of manufacturing planning sketches and proper tooling setup
- Ability to perform shop mathematics associated with machining operations
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent physical movement
$29.68 - $37.10/hour
