Machine Operator I (#c22a)
Job Summary
You will operate and set up industrial machines to produce aerospace-quality components ensuring parts meet design tolerances and production schedules. You will work onsite across rotating and weekend shifts collaborating with production leads and quality personnel to support manufacturing output and safety.
- Set up program and operate machine tools to form cut bend size and machine parts from nickel stainless and titanium alloys
- Ensure machine setups produce parts that conform to customer-designed tolerances
- Read and follow written instructions sketches drawings and documentation
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and part quality
- Enter required documentation in the manufacturing planning and paperless timecard systems
- Follow established standards and safety procedures and work under direct oversight
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Familiarity with machine tools precision instruments and good manual dexterity
- Basic understanding of manufacturing planning sketches and shop mathematics associated with machining operations
- Ability to recognize when to stop and ask for clarification
- Capability to perform physical work including frequent movement and lifting up to 50 pounds
$25.28 - $31.60/hour
