Machine Operator

Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment to ensure safe efficient and high-quality production. This role follows production schedules performs routine equipment checks and maintains a clean and organized work area while adhering to company safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up operate and monitor production machinery according to established procedures.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine equipment adjustments and report mechanical issues to maintenance.
• Monitor machine performance and production output.
• Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines.
• Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow all safety policies procedures and company regulations.
• Keep work areas clean organized and free of hazards.
• Assist with machine changeovers and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
