Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable safety-focused Machine Operator to join our team. The Machine Operator will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used for metal fabrication cutting grinding finishing and material preparation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail follow safety procedures and maintain quality and production standards in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication cutting grinding and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Set up and adjust machines according to work instructions drawings and production requirements
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines and work areas
• Use hand tools and power tools to prepare modify and finish fabricated metal components
• Monitor machines during operation and make basic adjustments as needed
• Identify defective materials machine issues or quality problems and report them to supervision
• Follow all company OSHA and facility safety procedures including proper PPE requirements
• Complete required production inspection and maintenance records
• Meet production goals while maintaining safety quality and efficiency standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a machine operator fabricator grinder or in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience with metal fabrication grinding cutting or finishing is a plus
• Ability to operate hand tools power tools grinders saws and other shop equipment
• Basic understanding of measurements dimensions and fabrication drawings
• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures calipers and micrometers
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and machine-adjustment skills
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment
