Through our people-first culture and commitment to Were In It For Life we support your development well-being and long-term Schedule: Monday-Friday 230pm-1030pmBenefits: Earn up to an additional $3000 annually in Shared Rewards Bonus Medical dental and vision benefits-effective on date of hire!401k plan with company matchGenerous paid time off benefits and 10 paid Holidays136 hours of PTOTuition ReimbursementPaid lunch timeCompany-paid life insuranceUp to $150-off your gym membership annuallyDiscounted Pet Insurances for your furry friendsDefined Career Path for advancement in role and compensationMAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: Operate CNC machines and equipment used in the manufacturing of products and will work with other employees to effectively meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Operate CNC machinery and equipment used in the manufacture of productsFollow operating manuals maintenance instructions and standard operating proceduresDocument all work performed on inspection reports and travelers/work ordersPerforms in-process inspection of all parts and/or assemblies in accordance with the requirements stated in the work order or as otherwise stated on drawings or work instructionsPerforms visual inspection both unaided and using microscopesPerforms various dimensional inspection using specific gauges measuring tools or dimensional inspection systemsDeburr parts as requiredVerify calibration on tools gages fixturesAdjust machine offsets and work coordinates with supervisionObserve all Viant Safety procedures and use of proper PPEFollow company safety procedures and OSHA lockout-tag out regulations for equipment under powerPerforms additional duties as requestedPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge/Education:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredJob Experience:Minimum 1 year experience in relevant manufacturing environment preferably in a machine shopSkills/Competencies:Ability to learn to read and interpret blueprintsDemonstrated experience using various measurement tools (tool maker scope calipers micrometers etc.)Ability to understand defects and have quality awarenessPhysical Requirements:Light work: Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or lift carry push pull or move objects.
