Machine Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

The Machine Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance requirements (equipment conveyor systems production machines); performs minor repairs on HVAC plumbing and other aspects of the physical plant.

LOCATION: Townsend MA 01469
POSITION: Contract
SCHEDULE: 3rd Shift - 11:00pm to 7:00am - Sun to Thurs
PAY RATE: $25.00hr - 29.00hr - manager will decide DOE

• Responsible for Maximizing production up time and high-quality products by ensuring machines and physical plant are operating at optimum levels.
• Completes preventative maintenance requirements (equipment conveyor systems production machines); performs minor repairs on HVAC plumbing and other aspects of the physical ongoing troubleshooting and repair of sources of problems by observing mechanical devised in operation listening for problems using precision measuring and testing machine operations by diagnosing extent of repairs required refitting repairing replacing parts or making adjustments.
• Trains production employees in routine preventative maintenance techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education and Experience: HS/GED and 2 years experience or Tech Cert.
• Experience in maintenance in a production environment.
• Knowledge of machine tools.
• Basic electrical and electronic repair knowledge.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Education and Experience: Mechanical electrical and computer certification preferred.
• Ability to follow diagrams schematics manuals instructions and engineering specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Experience with troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
