Lube Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks such as oil and filter changes tire balancing and rotation and cooling system flushes as outlined on repair orders.
• Check and adjust tire pressure.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
• Save and tag parts for warranty or customer requests.
• Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
• Conduct road tests to ensure vehicle functionality.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and stay updated on technical bulletins.
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop area.
• Account for and return dealership-owned tools and manuals in good condition.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and report any safety issues to management.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts commissions and percentages and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Background and MVR Check Required
