Are you ready to be a part of our journeyThe OS&D (Over Short & Damaged) Clerk Level I position involves managing and resolving discrepancies in the freight shipments while following all established OHFL policies and proceduresResponsibilities: Review all previous day deliveries for short overages damages and packages without identification to ensure they are directed to the appropriate a damaged good assessment contact shipper schedule external inspection and obtain disposition from shipper based on outcome of phone calls and provide customer service by assisting with work with Drivers to resolve freight thorough investigation report all unidentified freight to the claims the claims team with salvage office duties as :2 years experience in position with significant customer contact and customer least 1 year in administrative role in an office attention to detail and ability to track several different packages and inquiries experience and knowledge of terminology and processes in shipping strongly communication skills both written and oral. Ability to work across several different Oak Harbor departments to resolve PC proficiency and experience using MS Office products.
