SALARY RANGE: $23.00 - $25.00 - Hourly

GROWMARK FS isheadquartered in Milford Delaware with branches in New York New Jersey Maryland Delaware Pennsylvania and Virginia. GROWMARK FS has about 500 employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 13000 customers. The cooperative does business in seed agronomy energy crop protection precision agriculture and custom application. GROWMARK FS is part of the GROWMARK System an agricultural cooperative serving more than 400000 customers across North America and Ontario Canada.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for Liquid Propane product delivery and service work.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Ensures efficient delivery of liquid propane within the trade territory according to customer and company requirements

Prospects for new customers to solicit new business

Communicates marketing programs and distributes sales promotion materials to customers and prospects

Conducts pressure and leak tests to assure the integrity of the propane system.

Performs leak tests on customer systems as required.

Ensures accurate billing of products and services

Provides customer service in a timely and accurate manner to increase customer satisfaction maintain the reputation of the company and the profitability of the company.

Maintains department equipment and vehicles for safe and proper operating condition

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows GROWMARKs Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program Environmental Health and Safety OSHA and DOT policies and procedures as they apply

Performs all other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof and/or 1-2 years of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge and skills regarding propane systems.

Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge collaboration communication customer focus decision making and skill development

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with required endorsements medical DOT card and satisfactory driving record.

Must be able to successfully complete a propane Certified Employee Training Program (CETP) and re-certifications.

Frequently exposed to extreme weather conditions. Working conditions may occasionally include dust fumes chemicals and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.

Occasionally may be required to work at varying heights.

Frequently required to lift 51lbs 70lbs

Must be able to travel independently and overnight

Must be willing to work hours beyond those considered normal

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARKs policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience location and other factors permitted by addition to base pay certain roles may be eligible for bonuses incentives and commissions.
