Role Description

ID Tech Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician for a full-time field-based position serving clients throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area and surrounding region.

The role focuses primarily on servicing and troubleshooting low-voltage communications and physical security systems along with smaller installation projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot maintain and repair CCTV access control burglar alarm and phone systems
  • Perform low-voltage cabling work small installations and system upgrades as needed
  • Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions
  • Test systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality
  • Travel to client locations throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area and surrounding region
  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding service issues findings and completed work
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service and installation work

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience with low-voltage cabling maintenance and troubleshooting
  • 5 years of hands-on experience working with CCTV access control burglar alarm and phone systems
  • Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with the team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability and willingness to travel to client sites throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area and surrounding region
  • Relevant low-voltage certifications technical training or a degree in a related field is a plus
